A Moment of Recognition

Wow! What an honor to be recognized by the City of Baton Rouge as Ms. Louisiana Plus America 2013 at the Kaleidoscope Dream Fashion Show - presented by Councilwoman C. Denise Marcelle. I was completely shocked to receive such a prestigious award!

As servant leader, I truly believe we can impact our communities by serving the needs of the community and empower others to do the same.

I am reminded of this quote - “The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”  Ralph Waldo Emerson

Thank you for all my sponsors for this weekend Ashley Stewart for dressing me, Niecy's Beautyshop for taking care of my hair and family and friends for their support.
